Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.

Happy Father's Day Papa - 2011

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY PAPA - YOU'RE STILL HERE

You looked at me and saw what I never could see
You made me be more than I thought I could ever be
And when I needed a friend
You were always there to lift me up to make me strong

You're not gone
You're still here with me all the time
You're still here when I close my eyes

I still see you, I still feel you
And we'll never be apart
You're still here, still here in my heart
In my heart

It's because of you I knew how it felt to be loved, oh
You made me feel beautiful 'cause you believed I was
And I will never forget how you touched my life
You made me feel like I belonged, you'll live on

You're still here with me all the time
You're still here when I close my eyes

I still see you, I still feel you
And we'll never be apart
You're still here
Still here in my heart, oh

You're my life
You'll be in my life
You'll be part of me
I'll just think of you and you'll be

Still here with me all the time, oh Lord
Still here when I close my eyes
I feel you, and we'll never, never be apart
You're still here, still here in my heart
In my heart

Still here
Still here
Still here

Happy Birthday Papa

Mom and Dad on their wedding day
Happy Birhtday Dad. Today you would be 86 years young. It's hard to imagine that it has been nine years this past New Year's Eve when you passed. Thank you for all the memories and lasting love that continues to sustain us. Your effect on us is apparent every day. I can only hope that in your passing you've entered into your new "spring" and as we pass into our own seasons, someday we meet again in the warm light of your favorite "summer" day. We love you dad!
